Kelly's Question of the Day

Have any of you tried Spray N Wash Max? I heard on a commercial the other day that it's supposed to get out dried in stains, and I hardly believe it. Of course, I didn't know until not long ago that stains won't come out once an article of clothing has gone through the dryer. I just wondered whether or not it works.

Never tried it. BUT I've had lots of luck with OxyClean - even with stains that have been through the dryer. I will get a bowl of really hot water and put about 2 BIG scoops of OC and let it soak overnight. I would say it works 80% of the time.

Aha! I've always wondered how you did that.

I've been afraid to use hot water because of the set-in concern, and I've only ever used one scoop at a time, then wondered why I wasn't getting very good results.

Do you use the hot water only for set-in stains, or any stain?

I've generally had good luck with Spray-n-Wash Stain Stick, but sometimes I have to treat again and run clothes through the wash twice.

I use the hot water for any stain. I think the key is the hot water and a high concentration of OC. My hot water will be very cloudy I have it so strong. I've only had one bad experience with it. One time it actually bleached out something that I was soaking. I've been using it for years, though, and that has only happened once.
