I had a thought. What was it?
It's amazing how many Disney cartoons you can fit into one day. I think Parker has had me play Dumbo four times, The Little Mermaid, and now 101 Dalmations, and we've still had time for computer play, a long nap, and lots of laundry folding.
We're letting him get his fill now as he recovers from that surgery.

Those aren't too bad. At least he didn't want to watch an eight-hour marathon of "Aladdin 2".
I'm not sure I can watch the crows in Dumbo the same way again after seeing "Fritz the Cat." That's not a recommendation.
You might have been old enough to have gotten beyond that phase by the time we got a VCR, but are there any movies you remember watching over and over as a child?
Yes.
*The Princess Bride* and possibly *Girls Just Wanna Have Fun*. Later, *Strictly Ballroom*. I know we did this with other movies too. For the first several years that we had a VCR, us kids, whatever the ages, would rent a movie from whichever place we were using at the time and watch it three or four times at least before taking it back. I suppose you remember that David made us watch *Home Alone* over and over and over and over again.
One year, not all that long ago, when mom gave me *Moulin Rouge* for my birthday, Michael and I watched it a couple of times in a row--because the first time he was appalled that I was watching it until he saw the end, and then he realized he really ought to see the movie. And then he loved it. He just had to give it a chance.
Most recently I watched *Pushing Tin* three times in a row I think. There's something about that movie I really like, but I can't figure out what.
I'm probably the culprit of a lot of the repetitive movie watching.
