Lysol Three-in-One All Purpose Cleaner and Oxy-clean: Directions for Use

I need help. I have one bottle of Lysol Three-in-One All-Purpose Cleaner that the bottle says is dilutable. The directions talk about different ways to dilute the product, or they talk about using it at full strength but rinsing well with water. I'm using this product to clean my bathroom. I bought a spray bottle for it yesterday. Does anyone out there have experience with this product who can tell me how to use it?

I also have a small container of Oxy-clean. I don't have experience with this product either. I've tried following it's package directions, but didn't find that very effective. How do you use Oxy-clean?

I don't have much experience with Lysol but I absolutely love Oxy-Clean and keep it on hand at all times. I use OC to get stains out of our clothes. I will put just enough hot water in a bowl or washing machine to cover the clothes. I will then put a lot of OC in there (like 5-6 scoops). I then let it soak over night. In the morning the stain is gone.

Thanks, Tina. That was exactly what I was looking for. I soaked some clothes once according to the package directions and was very disappointed in the results. That was, like, one scoop, and I think the water I used was cold.

Is there any particular all-purpose cleaner that you like to use?

Not really. I use strait Clorox for the toilets. I use Clorox wipes for the sink. I usually use Comet when I'm ready to the scrub the tub. I mainly use a Swiffer wet for my kitchen and bathroom floors. In other words, I buy separate products for everything.

I'm an ammonia guy myself. It's cheap and an absolute killer to germs.

Oh, I forgot, I choose ammonia rather than bleach, because I have ruined too many clothes by cleaning with bleach.

Fantastik has a spray that kills 99.9% of germs in 15 seconds. I really like it for the sinks, counters, top part of the toilet, the doorknobs when someone's been sick, etc.. I spray it on, then come back and wipe it off.

Clorox has a new line of natural cleaning products (lemon oil, coconut). I got the bottle of liquid to mop floors, and really like it, and the spray bottle for mirrors/windows, and I like it, too.
