Things Isaac threw into the bathtub while I was taking a shower this morning:
my pajamas
several dried out wash cloths that hadn't yet made it to the laundry basket
an almost full bottle of shampoo
I'm glad he didn't notice my Timex watch, which was sitting out on the back of the toilet right within his reach. We can't close the door to the bathroom just now, can't even jam it shut with out placing a heavy object in front of it, and Isaac has an epic love for throwing things into the toilet, the tub, and the fireplace, I've decided.

You'll look back on this and laugh... probably. :-) I'm sure you've tried most everything... and are probably already doing this too... but my only comment is to make sure the toilet gets flushed every time so that at least it's just water. lol

I remember going into the bathroom when Lyndal was very young and she had completely filled the toilet with books! I can laugh at that now, but I was most certainly not laughing at the time.
Cyndi,
Thanks for reading. We didn't use to flush the toilet during naptimes because I thought they noise for directly behind their wall would wake my babies. They seem to have outgrown the noise issue by now. My cell phone hasn't wakened them, nor has the Jehovah's Witnesses knocking at my door, most recently. I'm still not brave enough to try doing laundry during naptime.
Tina,
I think of your book story every time Isaac throws anything in. If he started throwing books in the toilet, I just don't know what I'd do. It took several experiences to get over the instant frustration of seeing one of my children pull all the wipes or facial tissues out of their boxes at once.
"use to," "used to?" Which one is correct?
